We thought that it would be a good idea to get some of the BU slates to talk to us about what the future of BU would look like if the Student Body voted for them.
Here’s the BUnited interview and the RenewBU interview with our questions, comments in bold.
For more information about the slates, I’d recommend checking out the BU Quad’s run down of the slates and their in-person interview. They beat us to the punch on publishing, so we decided that instead of having a face to face interview with similar questions we’d make sure we covered areas that they didn’t, and give time for the slates to respond. The result: Interview via Email. Not as exciting for us perhaps, but hopefully you find it informative.
Update: RENEW BU’s four person slate sweeps the Student Union elections. The BUnited slate’s Secretary won a spot on the eboard, being the only recognized candidate running for the position.
